| Afrika Spectrum
Afrika Spectrum: Afrika spectrum, first published in 1966 by the Institute of African Affairs in Hamburg, is an inter-disciplinary refereed journal focusing on social science dealing with Africa. The journal is dedicated to promote a deeper understanding of African peoples and cultures. Therefore, it aims not just at academics and students of African affairs, but also at general readers and practitioners with a concern for contemporary Africa. Since more than three decades afrika spectrum provides regularly, three times a year, profound analyses of current issues of political, social and economic life, culture and development in Africa south of the Sahara. It is the only German academic journal exclusively devoted to this continent. Since 2003 the journal collaborates closely with the Association of Africanists in Germany (Vereinigung für Afrikawissenschaften in Deutschland, VAD). Members of the VAD contribute in various forms to the success of the journal, e.g. as authors or as referees in the peer review process. Besides, the subscription of the journal is included in the VAD membership fee; nevertheless the independence of the journal and its editorial policy is guaranteed. Furthermore the journal provides an unique possibility in the German speaking hemisphere, for authors and readers alike, to publish and discuss their findings in their mother tongue. Nonetheless, contributions in English or French, notably from African countries, are also welcome. Meanwhile English contributions constitute more than half of all contributions on average. Regularly articles included are on varied topics, but the journal also publishes special issues devoted to specific subjects, such as Islam in Africa, the CFA-zone, friendship, or African political parties. Also included are historical studies that illuminate current events in the continent. In addition, the journal carries debates, short contributions and book reviews. Abstracts in English and French, key words for each article, and an annual authors, country and subject index are provided as well. | |

AFTONBLADET: Nya Mediecentret ligger i gallerian, precis vid entrén till Aftonbladet. Det är en unik satsning där eleverna flr jobba i tre kanaler som Aftonbladet producerar nyheter i: tv, webb och tidning. Pl redaktionerna ska eleverna jobba med de yrkesroller som finns pl en redaktion. Aftonbladet grundades 1830 av Lars-Johan Hierta, och har utvecklats frln att vara en papperstidning till att idag vara ett stort medieföretag som producerar nyheter i flera kanaler. Vi har bedrivit mediecenter med besöksverksamhet sedan 1993. Vlrt tidigare mediecenter var inriktat pl papperstidningen, idag kan vi erbjuda ett nytt unikt koncept som ligger i linje med företagets olika delar.
